God the Mother

It is a matter of fact and biology that offspring are born because of a father and a mother. God created this natural order for a reason.

“You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being.”
Revelation 4:11

All of God’s creations contain God’s will. This includes the family system. The simple and unchangeable fact that a father and a mother are required for children to be born teaches us something very profound about our status as children of God: we must have God the Father and God the Mother.

The Mystery of God Revealed in Our Age

The World Mission Society Church of God believes and teaches about the existence of God the Mother. Christians are usually brought up being taught solely about the existence of God the Father. So naturally, this may feel perplexing. However, the reason this is not a widely discussed teaching is because of biblical prophecy.

“But in the days when the seventh angel is about to sound his trumpet, the mystery of God will be accomplished, just as he announced to his servants the prophets.”
Revelation 10:7

Revelation is a book that contains many prophecies fulfilled in our time. And that includes the prophecy that “the mystery of God will be accomplished.” Now, the mystery of God is being revealed to the whole world.

To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.
Colossians 1:27

The Meaning of Christ

According to the Bible, the mystery of God is Christ. Now, we must see how the Bible defines Christ.

The god of this age had blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.
2 Corinthians 4:4

The Bible explains that Christ is the image of God. While we have only known God of the male image, the Bible lets us know that God also has a female image.

The Image of God Revealed From the Creation

Then God said, “Let us make human beings in our image, to be like us. . . . So God created human beings in his own image. In the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.
Genesis 1:26-27 (NLT)

The book of Genesis explains the image of God to be male and female. In other words, there is a male image of God (God the Father) and a female image of God (God the Mother).

God says He makes known the end from the beginning (Isa 46:10). From Genesis, God explained about the ultimate Saviors: God the Father and God the Mother. The fact that They are stated as the images of God, meaning Christ, means They will come in human likeness.

The male image of God first appeared 2,000 years ago and, in accordance with biblical prophecies, He has already come a second time. This image of God is not a mystery. The real mystery is the female image of God, the female Christ. Even though people haven’t heard about Her yet, She is definitely testified in the Bible.

But the Jerusalem that is above is free, and she is our mother.
Galatians 4:26

Apostle Paul taught the Early Church about the Heavenly Jerusalem, letting them know the existence of God the Mother in heaven.

The Complete Heavenly Family

As believers in God, we always knew we have a Father and that we are His children. But now the mystery of God, God the Mother, has finally been revealed to us. She is the one the children of God have been waiting for to form the complete heavenly family.

Just as Father came to the earth, Mother has come to this earth as well.

Then one of the seven angels who held the seven bowls containing the seven last plagues came and said to me, “Come with me! I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb.” So he took me in the Spirit to a great, high mountain, and he showed me the holy city, Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God.
Revelation 21:9-10 (NLT)

Jerusalem Mother has come to this earth in human likeness in fulfillment of this prophecy. She is also referred to as the Bride of the Lamb (Jesus). Now that we have met the Bride, the Bible tells us we must rejoice.

Let us rejoice and be happy and give God glory, because the wedding of the Lamb has come, and the Lamb’s bride has made herself ready.
Revelation 19:7 (NCV)

We are to rejoice upon Her appearance because, just as physical mothers are the source of love for her children, Heavenly Mother is the source of love and salvation for us. And the Bible concludes with a message to the children of God the Father and God the Mother, telling us to come and receive eternal life.

The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” Let the one who hears this say, “Come!” Let whoever is thirsty come; whoever wishes may have the water of life as a free gift.

In our time, God the Father and God the Mother are calling us to receive the water of life, eternal life. God the Mother dwells in the World Mission Society Church of God and calls all those who desire to go to the kingdom of heaven to return to Her.
