The Origin of Our Soul
The origin of our soul can be understood by our spiritual status on this earth. Man is born, but cannot escape death. Although the length of our days is seventy or eighty, it is like a dream overnight and like the grass that sprouts in the morning. Then why are we born into this world?
“Therefore just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all men because all sinned.”
Romans 5:12
“But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear.”
“The payment for sin is death. But God gives us the free gift of life forever in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
The free gift of life was granted through the precious blood of Christ promised on the New Covenant Passover (Mt 26:26–28; 17–19) As the body and blood of Christ were offered in exchange for sinners to be redeemed, mankind can return to heaven (Ecc 12:7).
