The WMSCOG and Jesus

Q: Does the World Mission Society Church of God believe in Jesus?

A: Yes, the World Mission Society Church of God believes in Jesus and actively embodies Christ’s teachings, following His path and spreading the message of salvation that He taught. The Church of God acknowledges Christ’s crucifixion as the sacrifice of God in the flesh, granting humanity forgiveness of sins.
The Church of God’s belief in Jesus as the Christ isn’t because, for example, it is a miracle for a baby to be born of a virgin. Rather, it’s rooted in the fulfillment of Old Testament prophecies, including the surrounding His birth, even though His name wasn’t mentioned.
Isaiah recorded the prophecy about Christ’s birth hundreds of years before it took place:

“Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel.”

The fulfillment of this prophecy was recorded in the New Testament:

“This is how the birth of Jesus the Messiah came about: His mother Mary was pledged to be married to Joseph, but before they came together, she was found to be pregnant through the Holy Spirit.”

Jesus fulfilled countless prophecies concerning His first coming, confirming His identity. This is why Jesus Himself stated that the Scriptures testify about Him (Jn 5:39).

Jesus brought the light of salvation to those walking in darkness (Isa 9:2) and destroyed the power of death through his sacrifice (Heb 2:14). The Church of God not only believes in and loves Jesus but also shares His love with humanity. The name of Jesus is revered, and the Church also acknowledges His new name, as prophesied in Rev 3:12.

Heavenly Family & God the Mother

The Bible’s Answer to the Question, “Is There Really God the Mother in the Bible?”
All churches agree on referring to God as “Father” regardless of their denomination.
Throughout history, mankind has worshiped and believed in only one God, God the Father,
but the Bible has repeatedly taught us that for mankind to receive life
and enter the eternal kingdom of heaven, the existence of God the Mother is essential.
