We’d Love to Hear From You!
Thank you for visiting our website and taking time to learn about the World Mission Society Church of God in Virginia. Our Newport News location serves the community through Bible education, family-friendly activities and volunteer service events. We gladly welcome you to visit us to learn more about the teachings of God in the Bible and our volunteer efforts.
Bible Education
The World Mission Society Church of God upholds the firm belief in the existence of God the Father and God the Mother. As a worldwide, non-denominational Christian church, the Church of God bases all facets of faith on the Bible. And from Genesis to Revelation, the Bible testifies that not only do we have God the Father but also God the Mother. The Church of God observes the seven feasts of God, including the New Covenant Passover, which Jesus celebrated with His disciples before the crucifixion. The Church of God also observes the Sabbath day on Saturday, holding worship services on the seventh day, according to the teachings of Jesus Christ.
The Church of God puts a special emphasis on Bible education in order to understand God’s salvation plan. Bible studies are done in both one-on-one and group sessions. Through individual Bible study appointments, you are welcome to ask questions, as all answers can be found in the Bible. Topics include God the Mother, the Sabbath day, Second Coming Christ, the origin of the spirit, and much more. The members, who eagerly want to share the word of God with their neighbors, also organize and host biblical seminars, which cover a variety of areas.
Please contact us to schedule a Bible study or learn about upcoming seminars.
Volunteer Service
Members of the World Mission Society Church of God engage with the community through various volunteer services. They volunteer in all sorts of events, including awareness walks, blood drives, environmental cleanups and much more. The Church of God views volunteerism as a great way to bring joy and peace to the community, and encourages others to join in.
And this work is not exclusively taking place in the United States. All members of the Church of God around the world actively volunteer to support their local communities. As a result, governments and organizations alike praise the good deeds of the Church of God—the United Kingdom, South Korea and even our own country of the United States, have presented the Church with great accolades.
If you are interested in volunteering with us, please send us a message and we’ll let you know about our upcoming volunteer projects!
Thanks, again, for visiting our website. We look forward to hearing from you!
