Community Support and Participation

It was a day filled with family, fun, and community spirit. After donating, participants ate delicious BBQ food while children enjoyed face painting and a bounce house.

With the support of 100 dedicated donors, the Annual Blood Drive for the Passover resulted in 82 pints of life-saving blood. This remarkable turnout and contribution underscores the unwavering dedication of the members of the Church of God. It also highlights the partnering community members commitment to making a tangible difference in the lives of those in need.

Brittany Strozier, a Church of God volunteer, expressed, “Just as the blood is pumped by the heart, so this is our way to show our heart.”

Senator Diggs Joins the Fun

Moreover, Senator Danny Diggs joined the event. He engaged with donors and expressed his gratitude for the warm reception and energy of the members.

“As you can see it’s an awesome event with a lot of energy going on and a lot of participants doing good things for the community and doing God’s work,” said Senator Danny Diggs.

Spiritual Life Saving Blood, the New Covenant Passover

The primary goal of the blood drive was to address the critical need for blood donations. However, it also served as a platform to share about the spiritual life-saving blood given through the New Covenant Passover. This is a very important feast of God in which Jesus offered His holy flesh and blood for the salvation of mankind. To learn more, make an appointment for a Bible study through our contact form.
